The resin I use is a part A and B mixture that when cured (hardens) turns into a solid, unprocessed plastic. Yes I make ashtrays and rolling trays and they can be ashed on. Although, it's durable, resin (after curing) can get bendy or floppy if left in heat for too long. Don't worry! the piece can be saved! if this does happen, just place your resin piece, out of the heat, flat and they'll be back to normal within an hour. If it's no longer warm and gets manipulated, you can place it in the sun for a bit. Maybe no longer than 20 mins, please keep a timer on or be outside with it. Let it get warm, then bring it inside and put on a flat surface. So please try to keep your art out of the heat/sun for long periods of time and not so often.
